Why buy the Winterhalter UC-XL Glasswasher?
Winterhalter has incorporated an exclusive touch screen control panel to choose the wash cycle settings. Furthermore, it displays a unique progress bar to show the user how long the wash cycle has left.
The unit has an inbuilt thermostop on the boiler so that the rinse and wash tank is guaranteed pre-set temperature. The "soft-start" function allows the washing to take a gentle approach to tall or unsteady pieces of glassware.
The wash tank temperature is can be adjusted between 40-66°C to cut through grease and grime and the rinse tank temperature can also be set between 40-85°C depending on the chosen cycle
The rear panel features a closed stainless steel spray guard IP X5 as standard to stop water leaks.
Models:
- Energy Model: The unit recycles the heat from the operation of the unit to use it again to conserve excess energy heating the tank every time. Larger dimensions that standard.
- Cool Model: Specific programmes for precious glassware with a slightly higher temperature wash tank for a pristine clean every time.

Using the UC-XL washer
To fully cover all aspects of glassware cleaning Winterhalter has included as standard 6 basic cleaning wash cycles:
- Eco program to save the maximum amount of energy in each wash.
- Short Program which are ideal for half full baskets or lightly soiled glasses.
- Silent Program when noise level must be reduced due to the environment, making working a more comfortable atmosphere.
- Intensive program for when the glasses need a more thorough washing such as lipstick stains.
- Basic cleaning program ideal for when glasses may need a quick wash ready for service.
- Descaling program to keep the overall condition of the machine clean and healthy.
The washer consumes only 2.4 litres of water per wash cycle to leave the glassware clean and hygienic.
