CE Marked Glasses

CE mared glasses with valid CE stamps are required for all glassware used to serve measured quantities of alcohol whether this is pints, half pints, shots or wine for example. These markings ensure that the correct measure is being dispensed to comply with the Weights & Measures Act 1985 and the Licensing Act 2003.

CE Marked Glassware for Pubs, Bars & Restaurants

CE marked glassware is a must have for any licensed premises whether in pubs, bars, restaurants or nightclubs, in order to comply with government legislation.

The CE mark declares European Confirmity or 'Conformite Europeene' and while this stamp will change to a UKCA mark in the future following Brexit, the defining criteria will remain the same.

Prosecution can occur if a licensed premises is serving unregulated measures in non-CE marked glasses.

When alternative CE stamped measuring tools are being used such as optics or thimble measures, the glassware used does not also need to display the CE mark, so if you're shopping for tall glasses for long drinks or cocktail glasses for delicious mixes, you may not neccessarily need CE or UKCA stamps.

With a full range of glassware options available in numerous styles and all complying with CE marked legislation you can guarantee that you are always able to serve any drink in accordance with the law.
