Robot Coupe originated with humble beginnings when the bright French salesman Pierre Verdan, who realised a significant portion of time was spent by his catering clients in the kitchen chopping, shredding and mixing by hand, had the simple but effective idea of a bowl with a revolving blade in the base.
In 1960, this concept grew into Robot-Coupe, the first company established to manufacture a food processor for the catering industry and the market leader ever since, with many variations and high-performance improvements available for a wide range of uses in restaurants, delicatessens and other catering businesses.
