Compact and Efficient FOG Management
The Mechline BioCeptor Drain Maintenance System combines the power of traditional FOG entrapment with advanced biological treatment. Its compact footprint makes it perfect for commercial kitchens seeking effective grease management without compromising on space.
High-Efficiency Interception
With an average efficiency rating of 95.6%, the BioCeptor FOG Intercept and Treatment (F.I.T) unit effectively retains fats, oils, and grease before they reach your drainage system. The unit supports full bioremediation for permanent breakdown of FOG, reducing the risk of blockages.
Advanced Flow Control Technology
The compact size is achieved through engineered flow control, offering superior performance in a much smaller footprint compared to traditional grease traps. This not only saves space but also enhances operational efficiency.
BioCeptor F.I.T Compatibility with GreasePak
When used alongside Mechline’s GreasePak bio-fluid dosing module, the BioCeptor becomes a fully integrated FOG management system. This combination ensures continuous biological treatment and lower service frequency.
7.5kg lightweight design (empty) for easy removal and floor cleaning
60kg full weight ensures stability during operation
Rounded, smooth design prevents organic waste accumulation
Removable baffles and lid for effortless maintenance
Four adjustable feet for secure, level placement
10-year warranty on tank and lid for long-term peace of mind
Material and Construction
Manufactured from high-strength injection-moulded high-density polyethylene in grey, all components are fully recyclable. Built to withstand daily commercial use in harsh kitchen environments.
Flow Rate Performance
Handles flow rates of up to 96 litres per minute (1.6 litres per second), making it suitable for busy foodservice operations. Maintains consistent performance without overloading drainage systems.
Maintenance and Hygiene
Quick-disconnect fittings allow the unit to be removed entirely for deep cleaning. Engineers can access the unit without special tools, and all maintenance work can be handled by certified grease trap service companies.
Site and Installation Requirements
Must be installed according to local authority and water company regulations. Drains should be pressure-washed before installation to avoid dislodged FOG causing downstream blockages. Ideal placement is 2m from heat or harsh chemical sources.
Recommended Use
Perfect for foodservice sites needing reliable FOG control to avoid recurring drain blockages. Helps meet environmental compliance and legislative requirements in commercial kitchens.
The Biological BioCeptor is more than a grease trap—it’s a comprehensive, low-maintenance FOG control system designed to meet the needs of busy commercial kitchens. Its smart design, easy servicing, and biological efficiency reduce long-term costs while keeping your drainage systems flowing freely.
Protect your premises, stay compliant, and reduce costly drain emergencies with Mechline’s BioCeptor Drain Maintenance System. For commercial kitchens looking to enhance hygiene and environmental responsibility, it’s the smarter, greener choice.
