Crepe pans and pancake pans are shallower than frypans with a wide flat base that evenly distributes heat, perfect for fast results. The small lip around the edge makes flipping and serving thin crepes and pancakes easier. Blini pans are a small version of a frypan although with higher sides than crepe pans making them great for mini, thick pancakes.
